Rajasthan, though a very diverse land is predominantly arid. Nature is not very bountiful in Rajasthan about 70% of the land is covered by the great Thar desert. The Thar Desert covers the districts of Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Barmer. In this hostile terrain temperature shoots upto 50 degree celsius in the days of summers and equally harsh cool nights.
